Feng Shui Yin and Yang

The concept of  Yin-Yang is more than 3000 years old. Energy-wise, Yin is female – soft, slow, relaxed, diffused, moist, passive and silent. Think of the rhythms and essence of feminine energy – the softness of water, the mystery of the moon, the blackness of rich soil and the deep silence of the night.

The Yang force is masculine – active, strong, hot, moving. Think of the fierce directness of the Sun, the aggressive speed of racing cars, the rock-solid surface of a mountain, the focused energy of a laser beam.

Human beings feel at their best when both these forces are in balance.

It is important to understand how balanced your home is. Having a harmonious balance of both Yin and Yang forces in your home will create the quality of energy you need in order to live a healthy fulfilling life.

The interaction of these two complementary forces Yin and Yang creates the essence of life around us. It creates the changes that keep the world turning.
